TOPIC: “Namosi Porphyry Copper Deposit, Fiji”
A review of the exploration history and geology of the deposit will be given. Three separate porphyry systems occur in the area which is currently being evaluated by a consortium managed by AMAX. These systems show mildly to strongly contrasting patterns of mineralisation, alteration and lithological controls.
