TOPIC: “Joint Geosat-NASA-JPL Test Case Programme – Thematic Mapper Scanner”
Dr. Henderson is President of the Geosat Committee – the voice of the US Exploration Geology Community for Satellite Remote Sensing for Energy and Mineral Resources.
He will talk on the results of the joint Geosat-NASA-JPL Test Case Programme which will be published in June 1982. This programme involved an aircraft-borne Thematic Mapper Scanner (similar to that in Landsat D) being flown over eight sites in the USA.
